About Us
Central Louisiana is a great place to live and garden although a bit warm in summer.  Some may even say hot! But the winter is tolerable and the people are THE BEST! We are blessed to have members from all of the surrounding area from the Texas state line to the Mississippi state line so we have a treasure trove of knowledge to share on growing daylilies and gardening. We work hard but we also enjoy the benefits of our hard work when we have several club tours of gardens. As others have said,  flowers may have caught our eye, but it is the people for which we stay connected.
We host an annual Fall Symposium and invite you to join us in November for this fine event .  Check back for Symposium details. We usually have 4-6 featured hybridizer/speakers and an impressive live auction of the newer cultivars available in the market. Attendance is limited in size so register early. The nominal registration fee covers a social on Friday night, the informative sessions with speakers, a plant sale, live auction admission plus a hot lunch.

Our monthly meetings often include programs on gardening topics and a covered dish lunch. Contact our President for details & dates.

On occasion, we hold an accredited AHS Daylily Show and the public views the entries at an area shopping all so all enjoy the blooms. We were the host club of the recent 2009 Regional meeting and it was most successful for all. .

For details please contact our president as listed above.
